RenderLapse Licenses Overview

Regular License

  1. The Regular Licensed Asset Can appear in non-commercial project.
  2. The Regular Licensed Asset Can be used for:
  3. End products not for sale
  4. One personal social media account with non-commercial activities
  5. The Regular Licensed Asset Cannot be used for:
  6. End products for sale
  7. Business social media accounts
  8. Physical or digital paid advertisements
  9. Native apps, web apps, or games
  10. The Regular Licensed Asset is a Single User License.

     YOU MAY: (Some Examples of The Permitted End Products)

  1. Use the Regular Licensed Asset for a YouTube video that’s free to view and not monetized.
  2. Use the Regular Licensed Asset for personal uses to enhance the quality of your content (e.g. presentation show) that’s free to view.
  3. Use the Regular Licensed Asset for personal gifts (e.g. Flyer, Gift Card, Poster, Sticker, Birthday Photo/Video) that you freely give out.
  4. Use the Regular Licensed Asset for a TV advertisement, as the audience does not have to pay to view it. It doesn't matter if the advertisement is for things that are being sold.
  5. Use the Regular Licensed Asset in the packaging for a physical end product that you’re selling as soon as the asset isn’t a part of the product itself.

     YOU MAY NOT:

  1. Resell, rent, sub-license, lease, transfer the licensed asset/pack nor create any competitive products based on RenderLapse Licensed asset/pack.

Reselling: Items purchased under our license may NOT be redistributed or resold "as-is" or as part of any other collection of project resources or files. In other words, you may not resell our files as stock footage/media or creative content in any way. Items purchased under our license may NOT be advertised as "your product" in any way. You may not use even a small part, or change the color of the Content, or modify the Content in any way and then try to sell that as your own content, stock footage, templates, etc. that is competitive with RenderLapse Content.

  1. Make the asset public or share the asset in any way that allows others to download, extract, or redistribute it as a standalone file.
  2. Use the Licensed Asset in pornographic, fraudulent, immoral, infringing, illegal, harassing, offensive, or defamatory material.
  3. Falsely represent authorship and/or ownership of the Licensed Asset.
  4. Allow anyone other than the Licensee to customize a digital or physical end product.
  5. Advertise nor provide customization services of any RenderLapse Licensed Asset/Content or Packs on your website nor via other type of service or standalone application. For example, you are NOT allowed to create a customization platform, which will offer pre-rendered videos based on RenderLapse Content. Another example is that you cannot incorporate RenderLapse Content into an application or system, which customizes the product automatically (e.g. by modifying the source code or XML).
  6. Create Apple Motion, Adobe After Effects or Maxon Cinema4D Templates, QuickTime files, Plugins, Applications and any products similar to RenderLapse products, regardless of whether they are created exclusively for private use.
  7. Use, Pre-render or flatten images created using the content or other sources for use in/as a template or stock media. The license doesn’t allow the creation of templates using the Content, as well as selling or sharing them on web portals.

*Any other use that is not expressly permitted in the license terms is strictly prohibited*

    Commercial License

    1. The Commercial Licensed Asset Can appear for unlimited times in physical or digital end products for sale.
    2. The Commercial Licensed Asset Can be used for:
      1. Unlimited business social media accounts owned and managed by the licensee.
      2. Unlimited physical advertisements for local, national, and global markets.
      3. Digital paid advertisements with unlimited impressions.
      4. Broadcast and streaming for unlimited lifetime viewers.
      5. One native app, web app, or game downloaded or sold up for unlimited times.
    3. The Commercial Licensed Asset is a Single User/Legal Entity (Company) License.

         YOU MAY: (Some Examples of The Permitted End Products)

    1. Use the Commercial Licensed Asset for a YouTube video that’s is monetized or any digital paid advertisements with unlimited impressions.
    2. Use the Commercial Licensed Asset in local, national and international broadcast production, film, independent film, corporate video, web video, video production, website, educational video, printed format, electronic document such as PowerPoint/Keynote presentation, as part of the Content you create.
    3. Use the Commercial Licensed Asset in a broadcast TV show or a movie that is being sold to the network.
    4. Modify or manipulate the Item. You can combine the Item with other works and make a derivative work from it. The resulting works are subject to the terms of this license.

    *if you purchase a pack and utilize element(s) of that pack in a corporate video, you may re-distribute or broadcast pack’s elements in a video as many times as you like. You may also use the same source file in another production any number of times and on other machines in your office*

         YOU MAY NOT:

    End User License Agreement (EULA)

    This Agreement defines the conditions for the use of Content owned by RenderLapse Company (hereinafter RenderLapse), hereinafter referred to as the License for RenderLapse Content.

    BEFORE INSTALLING RENDERLAPSE Content OR USING IT IN ANY WAY, CAREFULLY READ THIS LICENSE AGREEMENT ("LICENSE"). BY USING RENDERLAPSE Content YOU AGREE TO THE TERMS OF THIS LICENSE. AGREEING TO THE FOLLOWING TERMS AND CONDITIONS YOU ACKNOWLEDGE THE VALIDITY OF THIS AGREEMENT AS WELL AS EACH DOCUMENT SIGNED BY YOU. IF YOU DO NOT AGREE TO THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF THIS LICENSE DO NOT USE RENDERLAPSE Content.

    It is the responsibility of the buyer to thoroughly read the terms and conditions of this agreement, as copying RenderLapse Content in whole or part, the use of such Content, or its installation is tantamount to acceptance of the terms of this Agreement by the buyer.

    RenderLapse is the owner of all intellectual property rights to RenderLapse Content. Copying, downloading and installing the Content, using it in any way, as well as using the intellectual property rights to the Content is only possible under the terms of this Agreement.

    Content is protected by law, including copyright laws of the UNITED STATES, Canada, the European Union and other countries, as well as the provisions of international agreements and treaties.

    Unless this Agreement expressly states otherwise, it will not serve as a basis to grant to the user any intellectual property rights to the Content, and any rights not expressly granted to the other party remain the property of RenderLapse.

    1. Parties to the Agreement:

    The agreement is concluded between:

    - RenderLapse hereinafter referred to as the Seller, as one party,

    And, any purchaser of a license referred to as the License Buyer, as the other party.

    2. Contractual Definitions:

    - RenderLapse means an enterprise owned by RenderLapse.

    - RenderLapse Content means any Content files, and other works connected with this Content (sample graphics, photos, audio, images, drawings, footage etc.) related explanatory materials, all modifications, updates, additions provided to the Buyer by RenderLapse at any time unless they are subject to documented separate terms. RenderLapse Content in particular includes the files in any volume of RenderLapse product.

    - License means granted permission to use the Content and related web tools and any accompanying software in and assisting in the use of the Content.

    - Backup copy means data which reflects the original RenderLapse Content, used for its archiving and restoring original RenderLapse Content data in the event of its loss, destruction or damage that prevents proper operation of the Content,

    - Workstation means an individual work computer, on which the licensed Content can be installed.

    - Network means a group of computers connected in a local or Internet computer network.

    - Reversal, decompilation and disassembly techniques mean obtaining access to the source code of the Content.

    3. General Terms and Conditions:

    RenderLapse Content ("Content"), the documentation accompanying the License for the Content, on a data carrier, in read-only memory, on any other data carrier or in any other form (hereinafter referred to as "RenderLapse Content") are sold under a License by RenderLapse for use in accordance with the terms of this License, and RenderLapse reserves all rights to the Content. Rights granted to the Buyer shall be limited to any intellectual property developed using RenderLapse Content. By acquiring the right to the data carrier containing the Content, RenderLapse retains all rights to the Content. The terms of this License also include any changes and improvements in later versions of the Content, unless RenderLapse introduces a separate License, which will abolish and replace the terms of this License, but this must be expressly reserved in a separate license. Otherwise, these terms and conditions are applicable.

    4. Terms of Use:

    - It is not permitted to share the Content on an internal or external computer network. The Buyer has the right to install any and all licensed RenderLapse packs onto a local workstation. The Buyer has the right to make backup copies of the Content, provided that it will be used solely for backup purposes, in case of loss, destruction or damage to the original Content, provided that the copy will contain all the information regarding the ownership and copyrights contained in the original.

    - Unauthorized access of the Buyer’s online Content by non-license holders could result in the suspension of the Buyer’s online Content access and a legal action will be taken aggressively.

    - The Buyer agrees not to use the Content in a manner other than as authorized under this Agreement, and in a manner inconsistent with its intended purpose or documentation.

    - The Buyer has no right to separate any part of the Content to be used contrary to this license, in particular for use on other computers or other environment outside of the licensee’s domain.

    - The Buyer is absolutely forbidden to sell, rent, lease, sublicense, transfer, or share on any other basis the user rights to the Content, allow to copy the Content and its parts to a computer belonging to another individual or legal entity except as expressly provided under this license. Content may also not be the subject of the provision of services and the provision of work to third parties, unless otherwise stated in the terms of the license. This includes but not limited to reselling or gifting your product from any commercial website or facility. This includes, but not limited to sites such as EBAY, Craigslist, or Amazon.

    - All rights and restrictions listed here are granted to the licensee in perpetuity. All rights and restrictions survive the legal existence or transfer of ownership of the content to another licensor.

    5. Additional Restrictions:

    (a) UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES DOES THE LICENSE ALLOW THE CREATION OF COMPETITIVE PRODUCTS FOR THIS CONTENT AND OTHER RENDERLAPSE PRODUCTS AVAILABLE ON WWW.RENDERLAPSE.COM. IN PARTICULAR, THE LICENSE FORBIDS CREATING APPLE MOTION, ADOBE AFTER EFFECTS OR MAXON CINEMA4D TEMPLATES, QUICKTIME FILES, PLUG-INS, APPLICATIONS AND ANY PRODUCTS SIMILAR TO RENDERLAPSE PRODUCTS, REGARDLESS OF WHETHER THEY ARE CREATED EXCLUSIVELY FOR PRIVATE USE OR IN CONNECTION WITH COMMERCIAL OPERATIONS, GAINFUL ACTIVITY OR SERVICES RENDERED.

    (b) TEMPLATE/PRE-RENDER AND STOCK MEDIA RESTRICTIONS.

    RENDERLAPSE PRODUCTS ALLOW YOU TO CREATE YOUR OWN WORK. HOWEVER, IT IS PROHIBITED TO USE, PRE-RENDER OR FLATTEN IMAGES CREATED USING THE CONTENT OR OTHER SOURCES FOR USE IN/ AS A TEMPLATE OR STOCK MEDIA. THE LICENSE DOES NOT ALLOW THE CREATION OF TEMPLATES USING THE Content, AS WELL AS SELLING OR SHARING THEM ON WEB PORTALS (e.g. Videohive, Motionelements, Pond5, Revostock, and the like).

    6. Transferability:

    It is prohibited to rent, sublease or share RenderLapse Content in any way - either for a fee and at no charge. Copies of individual clips or packs available for promotional purposes may only be used for demonstration, testing and evaluation of their functionality and may not be resold or used for commercial purposes unless expressly stated.

    7. Termination of License:

    The terms of this License are valid until the expiry of the agreement. This License will terminate automatically without notice from RenderLapse in the case of breach by the Buyer of any of its terms and conditions. Any misuse of the Content or related permissions or services provided will be considered cause for termination of Licensee. The decision for termination will be at the sole discretion of RenderLapse. In the event of termination, you should immediately discontinue use of the Content and destroy all copies, in whole or in part, under pain of exposure to legal liability.

    8. Disclaimer:

    By accepting the terms of this License, the Buyer agrees to install and use the Content at own risk, at the same time accepting the quality, efficiency and ease of use of the Content. In addition to the limited warranty described in the License and aspects regulated of law, the Buyer accepts the Content in the form provided by RenderLapse, including any latent defects and without warranty of any refund. RenderLapse does not guarantee in particular that the Content or supplemental services or products will meet the expectations regarding its use, accuracy, correctness, up-time, compatibility with products from other manufacturers or that any errors in the Content will be corrected in the future. No written or oral advice or information given by RenderLapse is an entitlement for reimbursement. The Buyer assumes the obligation to pay any costs of repair, correction or replacement in the event of disclosure of any errors in the Content. Some jurisdictions do not allow waiver of a warranty, in cases governed by consumer law above disclaimer may not apply in some cases. The Buyer agrees that all sales are final. Any defect discovered that is deemed worthy of repair or replacement must be claimed within 60 days of purchase.

    9. Limitations of Liability:

    Apart from the cases regulated by law, RenderLapse disclaims any liability for personal injury or any (accidental, deliberate or indirect) losses, such as loss of profits, data, business turbulence, or any other commercial or personal losses associated with the use or incompetent use of the Content, even in case of notifying RenderLapse of the ensuing danger. Some jurisdictions do not allow the disclaimer of liability for personal injury, resulting from an accident or the consequences of use of the Content. In connection with this, the above disclaimer may not apply in some cases. Any accessory tools or services, such as online library or disc-based programs or applications, are not considered part of the Content or Packs or the license agreement. RenderLapse does not guarantee or warranty any service or tool that is not outlined in this document.

    10. Final Provisions:

    This License constitutes the entire agreement between the parties relating to the Content and supersedes all prior and simultaneous agreements regarding this aspect. All translations of this agreement are carried out for local needs and in case of any doubt or inconsistency between the English version and any other version, the English version of this Agreement shall apply.
